More often than not people take on rehab exercises and treatment programs without having a in depth assessment and diagnosis of the issues first. told they told their Mummy Tummy is due to Diastasis Recti. So often our clients have stubborn Protruding Tummy’s after birth who do not have Diastasis Recti but still an obvious tummy. This is because there are a number of reasons it can happen and most often is a combination of reasons. Some mums have a weak pelvic floor whereas others have overactive pelvic floors. FIRST INITIAL CONSULTATION
The First Appointment is 1 Hour and is Crucial as it helps to Diagnose YOUR causes of your pelvic floor issues and protruding tummy with a full assessment. There is no point in starting a course of any treatments wasting money hoping they will help without treating the problem. For example doing Workouts which are specifically to heal Diastasis Recti alone is not going to make a real difference if there are other causes contributing to your problem.
Once the full Assessment has been completed – the RIGHT treatment plan can start. We outline the prices of our treatments below but you do not have to make any decisions until the Assessment has been finished. Your physio will then discuss with you their findings and recommend the right treatments. Treatment will be started in this Initial Appointment so you can trial it out and then decide (or think about) which Plan of treatment you would like to take.

The 1st appointment includes extensive assessments to work out what is causing your protruding tummy. And then the treatments that are right for YOU can be recommended in that 1st appointment. There is no pressure to decide. You can go away and have a think about which treatment plan you would like to pursue.
None of the treatments are painful. You may feel a little muscle discomfort in the next 48 hours following treatment but this is a good sign that your muscles have been worked.
With the HIFEM/RF more often than not when experiencing the machine for the first time it brings laughter rather than discomfort when its felt for the first time just because its a new and different sensation. Then after a few mins you will become used to it. The intensity of the muscle contractions will be started at a lower intensity and gradually increased to higher intensities that are strong but comfortable. You may feel some warming feeling like a heat pad on your tummy when the Radiofrequency (RF) kicks in but this will only last for a few minutes.
Our core training we recommend 4 follow up treatments as this will help to support you and progress you onto harder exercises when you are ready as you progress through the Workouts.
The research shows that 4 treatments of 30 mins of HIFEM / RF are needed to have significant benefits and then the benefits tend to plateau after the 4th session. However the results of the treatment vary between people and some people find that the effect plateau’s after 4 treatments whereas others can have more treatments and still gain benefits.
The good news is that the muscles are shown in research and clinically to continue building after treatment has finished and the maximum effect of the treatment is seen at 3 months post starting treatment.
